CAST RESIN
TRANSFORMERS
Made with grain oriented magnetic laminations cut at 45° and assembled with the step lap method.
LV WINDINGS
Vacuum impregnated with class H polyester resin or encapsulated in class F epoxy resin.

MV WINDINGS
Mould encapsulated in an autoclave with class F epoxy resin.
METALWORK
Produced in-house and galvanized
for installation in even
the most aggressive
environments.
APPLICATIONS
Resin-encapsulated transformers have at least one of the two windings encapsulated in epoxy resin in an autoclave mould with a vacuum close to zero. The other winding can always be encapsulated in epoxy resin or impregnated with class H high-cementation polyester resin.
Technological advances in recent years have allowed resin-encapsulated transformers to reach a high degree of reliability. Our E2, C2, F1, but also E3 (IEC 60076-16) and C4 (GOST-R) production can be used where there are high moisture and pollution levels and low installation temperatures, even down to -60°C, eliminating problems associated with fire risks and toxic and harmful emissions in the event of fire.
As they are built entirely with insulating, flame retardant and self-extinguishing materials, they are completely free from all restrictions that would normally be applied to flammable equipment with a fire spreading or propagation hazard.
This type of transformer can be supplied with protection boxes having the desired IP rating. The casings are painted with epoxy coatings of the required RAL (RAL 7032 is standard) with pickled or galvanized sheet metal for outdoor installation.
