GBE solution to those situations where significant singlephase loads are generated from a threephase network, are proposed with the design and manufacture of two different types of transformers that evenly distribute the current and the power on the three phases:
The three-singlephase solution, that is easier and cheaper than the SCOTT-T, consists in transformers designed and manufactured according to the below diagrams, which distribute even not symmetrically, the load on the three phases. Unlike the SCOTT-T, the three-singlephase transformer does not require two balanced singlephase loads, but it may work with any type of load.
It is clear from the above diagrams that the current in the primary central phase is twice that of the other two phases, whereas the current in the secondary windings is identical and exactly the same as the one supplied on the load.
GBE have recently supplied a series of three- singlephase cast resin transformers to be installed in Germany and in Spain.
