ORGANIZATION

The administrative, commercial and technical management of the GBE group is located in the main plant where all activities are carried out, from product promotion and marketing to engineering and technical design, and from material procurement to order progress planning.

Cast resin transformers and reactors and oil power transformers are built in a state-of-the-art plant divided into two wings for the two different product types. The internal layout provides ample space for industrial construction of cast resin and air transformers and reactors, and for handling and assembling machinery up to 70 tons.

All oil production is located in an independent plant just a few steps from the main site. The internal organization and production cycle are based on the same logic and philosophy as plant 2 for resin production, although the construction characteristics, working process and insulating material are different for oil-immersed.

All mechanical parts for GBE transformers and reactors made from painted pickled sheet metal or in AISI 304 and AISI 316 steel are produced in-house in our two metalwork production plants. The machinery is of the latest generation and includes optical-fibre laser cutting with automatic magazine and a painting system for epoxy and polyester coatings that can guarantee protection levels up to C5 and CX.
