TRANSFORMERS AND REACTORS
Transformers and reactors are static electrical machines powered by alternating current. They are based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and serve to transform the voltage and current of electric power and/or limit them.
SPECIAL
TRANSFORMERS
Our special transformers and reactors differ from standard ones because they are designed for a specific application and fully meet customer component specifications in accordance with the reference standards.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES
These are forms of energy that do not pollute and do not run out since they can be regenerated at the end of the cycle, so they respect the resources from the natural world. Transformers and reactors are designed for the following applications: hydroelectric, solar, wind, marine and geothermal.
RAILWAY
The railway sector is growing continually. In an increasingly dynamic and modern planet, trains and subways are among the safest and most practical means of transport. Transformers for this sector are special because they must guarantee a service type and load that depends on the traction class. They can have one or more secondary windings insulated with air, resin or oil.
MARINE
Transformers and reactors for marine applications differ according to the installation type: onshore or offshore. The former installation is near a port, quay or the coast. The latter means on a ship, marine platform or other structure anchored to the sea bed. For each of these installations, further distinctions can be made according to the application and use.
LIGHT INDUSTRY
Light industry is a more consumer-oriented industry, as it typically produces smaller consumer goods. Most light industry products are made for end users and have low environmental impact. Typical sectors include: food, textile, plastic processing, automotive, woodworking, paper mills, etc. Transformers and reactors for this type of application are standard or have construction features to meet the component technical specifications imposed by the customer.
HEAVY INDUSTRY
Heavy industry is focused on the production of large, heavy and complex products. It is very important for economic development and industrialization of economies and has a large environmental impact. Because of these factors, heavy industry more capital intensive than light industry. Transformers and reactors for this sector often have significant powers and specific construction features.
PUBLIC AND CIVIL BUILDINGS
Power is supplied to public buildings, civil buildings and residential areas via substations with one or more transformers. The transformer type depends on the installation location, energy level that must be guaranteed in the event of fire and of course the awareness and experience of the designer. The most important public and civil buildings include: hospitals, shopping centres, sports facilities, office buildings, hotels, etc.
OIL & GAS
The Oil & Gas sector covers all the various processes involved in extracting oil from the fields, transporting it via pipelines and oil tankers, processing it in the refineries of the petrochemical industry and selling its derivatives. Transformers and reactors for this sector are highly specialized and in certain situations must comply with the restrictive ATEX regulations.

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
Any non-standard applications other than those described previously are defined as special applications. Transformers and reactors for such applications must not only fully meet the specific requirements imposed by the customer, but also special reference standards. These products are very complex and high-performance, not just electrically but also mechanically. In some cases they have innovative constructive solutions and exceptional features.
